Barcelona boss Ronald Koeman opens door to Dembele exit amid Manchester Utd links before the transfer window Close |OCT 5



  The new Barcelona manager Ronald Koeman has issued a respond to the latest rumours linking of the Club winger "Ousmane Dembele" with a move to Man United before transfer window close Oct 5.

  Manchester United are currently in talks to sign Ousmane Dembele for Barcelona on a season-long loan and United are hoping to finalise a deal before October 5 closing day for transfer window.

  Ronald Koeman in his speech when addressed the speculation over the French international Man's future with the Club at a press conference on Sept 30 Wednesday, He said: "what I'll say firstly is that, it is up to the club "Barcelona" and to the player. "But he's with us and as we have been seen it in recent weeks I am counting on him as part of my plan for the Club..

 He has to be patient to play but he's training well to get his fitness. "I'll say that I am counting on him as part of the Squad".

   Dortmund star Sancho believed to still be Manchester United's first-choice target as Ole side still looking forward to sign a new right winger, but Ousmane Dembele has apparently been identified to be an alternative option amid an impasse in negotiations with the  Borussia Dortmund Over Jason Sancho. The Barcelona star "Ousmane Dembele" became the Barca record signing when he moved to Camp Nou from Borussia Dortmund for €105 million /£96m in the summer of 2017, but he has yet to impress the Club since he joined them as it was expected.

   The Frenchman has been restricted to just 75 appearances in all competitions for Barcelona due to a string of injury problems, and he has also faced disciplinary action as regards to his attendance at training ground, leading to doubt over his commitment to the club's cause.

 The 23-years-old "Ousmane Dembele" has, however, aid Barcelona win two La Liga titles and the Copa del Rey and has recorded just 19 goals and 16 assists to his name with the club and returned to action this season during Barca 4-0 victory over Villarreal on Sunday.



  Ronald Koeman will be hoping his squad can build on a good start to the new Liga season with at least of two or three extra players before the transfer window shuts on October 5, with Ajax full-back Sergino set to be first through the doors at Barcelona.   

 The Dutch head coach confirmed the Sergino Dest impending arrival before talking up the qualities he will bring to Barcelona squad and the importance of strong competition for places in defence. 

 The 19-year-old having a medical, he still has to sign a contract. He is a young full-back, it is about having young players for the camp nou's future," he added. "He has to compete with the players we have.   Despite his age, he is played a lot of games and he is played in Champions League. He is a very useful player.

 Ronald Koeman went on to reveal that he would like to sign one more forward before on oct 5, but insisted that out-of-favour striker Martin Braithwaite will be a part of his plans going forward, said: "I'll like to have two players per position.  Messi and Griezmann can play as 'nine', but they are not the same type of centre-forward as Martin. We are looking for one more."
