Chelsea Striker: Timo Werner undergoing coronavirus tests after flu-like symptoms



  Germany international manager Joachim Low says that Chelsea Striker Timo Werner has undergone various COVID-19 tests after experiencing some flu-like symptoms, but the Blue star has not received the out come yet.

 Timo has been called up by Joachim to join the Germany team for the international break, with the Squad set to play a triad of games.

  Joachim low team are set to face Turkey on a friendly on October 7 before taking on Ukraine and also Switzerland in a pair of Nations League game in  few hours to come.

  However, Timo Werner has been battling illness since joining up with the Germany team from blue, after scoring one goal in his first five appearances for his New Club. On October 6, Joachim low revealed that Timo Werner has undergone tests for the COVID-19, but the Squad is still awaiting the out come of those tests.

  Various tests have been Conducted, but the results are yet to be received," Joachim low said. Germany international were held to a pair of draws in their last two games, their first since the outbreak of the pandemic disease.

 First up was a 1-1 draw against Spain, with Timo's goal being cancelled out by a late equalize by Jose Gaya strike before the Germans sealed the match result against Switzerland.

  Once again conceding after taking the match on with an Ilkay Gundogan finish. "We need to talk," Joachim low said. We've given away leads too much, we lose the advantage of our work.

 Joachim added: "You can feel that everybody's in a better rhythm. In September the situation was totally different." This period, Joachim Low says he expects to test a few several things, despite Germany international only having one training ground between the games against Turkey and Ukraine.

 Still, Joachim Low says he'll "put all the cards on the table" as he looks to realize more about his Squad as the Nations League carry on and the Euros loom. "Matches like this are there to see which players can add to our first eleven in the close future," he added. "This is an opportunity. Who shows himself? In what condition are the players? How're our specifications implemented?" Joachim low added: I expect my team to be greedy, hungry, consistent and cold-blooded - we've to present ourselves in such a way that the audience feels like seeing us again.
